The Toyota Voxy is the beautiful version of the Toyota Noah. It refuses to be just boxy and functional. It has sharp and aggressive design cues with a more assertive appearance. It has a short nose for excellent driver visibility and slim LED headlights & daytime running lights.
The side profile features power sliding doors that allow easy entry and exit. Subtle contours improve aerodynamics for enhanced performance and excellent fuel economy. The Toyota Voxy has a pragmatic approach when it comes to maximizing interior space. The cabin can accommodate up to 8 passengers, with each occupant enjoying plenty of legroom and headroom. The large windows improve visibility while at the same time allowing natural light to flood the cabin for an improved ambiance.
The Voxy is not very big on tech, but at least you have Bluetooth connectivity and an AM/FM Radio to tune in to Maina and King’ang’i on Classic 105 for some kasheshe as you drive to Kirinyaga. PERFORMANCE: How Does it Handle Kenyan Roads?
The Toyota Voxy has a comfortable and pleasant drive, good enough for a big family, but not an excellent choice for commercial PSV. It is better to get the Hiace or the highly sought-after Toyota Quantum if you want to get into shuttle services from Nairobi to Kitale or Nairobi to Siaya.
The suspension system perfectly absorbs road imperfections for a quiet and serene ride. Although the ground clearance is quite low, lower than the recommended standard of 6.1 inches on Kenyan roads, it can still be driven on light uneven terrain.
